WANA (Apr 05) – The appointment of Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli, former Minister of the Interior, as the new Iranian Ambassador to Beijing, replacing Mohsen Bakhtiar, has almost been confirmed.

 

Born in 1959, Rahmani Fazli holds a Master’s degree in Human Geography and a Ph.D. in Human Geography.

 

Rahmani Fazli served as Iran’s Minister of the Interior in the 11th and 12th administrations, Chairman of the National Security Council, Secretary-General of the Anti-Narcotics Campaign, and the Head of the Court of Audit.
